It takes many volunteers to help a community grow and be strong. To make a positive difference in the Wellington community, there are many opportunities to volunteer and become involved. Here are just a few:
CDC- Wellington Community Development Committee
The purpose of the CDC is to facilitate the improvement of the Wellington Area with the focus on community development through events and projects. This is a sub-committee of the Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce and involvement is open to area residents.

Wellington Senior Resource Center
The Center serves Wellington area seniors and adults of all ages. They sponsor seminar programs and clinics. Please see their brochure in the Welcome Packet.

Boys and Girls Club of Larimer County, Wellington Unit
Located at 3815 W. Harrison Avenue, Wellington. Their goal is to provide every child with the essential tools needed for a successful and bright future.

Eyestone Elementary, Rice Elementary, and Wellington Junior High
Wellington Community schools can use volunteers. Go onto the Poudre School District web site below and sign up on line to be a volunteer.

Wellington Library
Located at 3800 Wilson Avenue, Wellington. The library can always use volunteers.

The Wellington Filling Station
Located at 3906 Cleveland Avenue, Wellington. The Mission of the Wellington Filling Station is to provide a facility that encourages and teaches teenagers as well as adults who have had struggles in life to overcome with hope for their future.

The United Way
The United Way will find volunteers for projects or find places for people to volunteer. Soon they will have a Volunteer Resource Guide specifically for the Wellington area.

Larimer County History Museum / Wellington History Museum
Located at 3740 Cleveland Avenue, Wellington. Admission is free. Open Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and other times by appointment.

Wellington Recreation
